We are off and Sailing in 2010 / 2011!
Welcome to Somerton Yacht Club
We are a small but active dinghy sailing club located on the corner of College road and the Esplanade in Beautiful Somerton.
We blend both a competitive environment for serious sailors with a relaxed helpful environment including plenty of training for the lesser skilled amongst us and we think we have the lowest
membership fees
on the metropolitan coast.
We can boast several State and National Championships won by club members over the years but we also provide an entertaining and varied social calendar with club barbecues and weekend trips away. The club sails Tasars, Herons, Paper Tiger catamarans and National Es, so if you are a seasoned sailor looking for a new club or a landlubber with no idea or boat there is a good chance we can fit you in somewhere.
Why not
get in touch
and see what you think of Somerton's brand of sailing.
Remember your first three races are free anyway...
